The objective of this job is to help contribute to the mission effort in the country of South Sudan by partnering with other international mission organizations to develop a school for missionary children. In cooperation with MAF and SIL, we are in the early stages of trying to establish an International Christian School in Juba. The main role of this position would be teaching Primary School aged children, though there are also opportunities to get involved in local churches in Juba. We're looking for someone with a minimum of one year's teaching experience with multiple age groups who's familiar with living overseas, and has a willingness to lead in extracurricular activities. As well, TESOL experience and an aptitude for multiple languages will be a strong asset. A bachelor's degree with appropriate level teacher certification is required, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office. This position would be for one to two years.
