War. Terrorism. A crisis of refugees. How can we make a difference during such overwhelming global issues? One life at a time. What refugees need is love, warmth, and acceptance. They are hoping to find such relationships as they seek out a new life of peace for themselves and their families. This DREAM Team offers the chance to interact with refugees and migrants from around the globe. This summer team’s purpose is to initiate gospel conversations throughout the course of daily life with refugees.

We partner with a local refugee resettlement center. Specific opportunities range from childcare and cooking meals at the center, to teaching language classes, aiding construction projects, doing sports outreach, and youth events. You will encounter a variety of different languages, so any knowledge of a foreign language is beneficial but not required.

Training provided. Learn how to listen to the stories of others and share your faith with them through your own story.

Borderless is a ministry initiative of Africa Inland Mission. Borderless works with local churches in cross-cultural mission, reaching African immigrants and refugees who are building new lives in our communities.
