This role is helping a family with four children as they engage in their work of training leaders for the Tanzanian Church. Home schooling assistance will enable them to be able to minister more effectively to students at Nassa Theological College, as well as their neighbours, and engage in educational, mission and outreach types of ministries to help create Christ-centered churches. Another ministry possibility would be to help equip Tanzanian church workers and leaders with English language proficiency, which will help them in their theological and mission studies at the College. Located in Bulima, Tanzania, the duration for this assignment could be adjusted to last from 6 months up to 5 years. Major Tasks 1. Teaching children a homeschool curriculum. 2. If able, offer English tutoring to Nassa Theological College students. Training & Qualifications - No qualifications are required for this homeschooling role, although a bachelors degree in education, a teaching certificate, or children's ministry experience would be desirable. - A TESOL certification or equivalent is required for tutoring or teaching English to Nassa Theological College students. Experience For this role, some experience working with children is required. Some homeschool or primary school teaching experience would be highly desirable.

Serving to support AIM's new ministry initiatives in West Africa, you'll work as a homeschool teacher for a missionary family helping to launch this work. In addition to your day-to-day ministry as a homeschool teacher to two children, you'll also have opportunity to work and live in local community; develop relationships as your language skills and cultural understanding deepens, and to proclaim the gospel in culturally sensitive and effective ways. We're looking for someone with a heart for missions; a certified teacher or someone with previous experience teaching children.

This Ignite Team is designed to provide church and mission leaders an opportunity to experience mission work among the shepherds in the mountains of Lesotho, with the hope that these leaders will return to their congregations to encourage and challenge them to participate in the great commission - as supporters, senders and/or goers. As part of this team you will: - Observe, learn, and participate in outreach ministry among the highland shepherds. - Experience the culture and build relationships with local believers, in a variety of ministry settings. - Reflect on your 'home' church context, and consider ways to encourage greater participation in cross-cultural missions. We're looking for church leaders who are passionate about sharing the gospel and seeing the church mobilized for missions, who have a willingness to learn and take direction from the mission team and national church leadership. We're looking for servant-hearted leaders, who are encouragers and able to motivate others for the kingdom. This team will serve in a rugged mountain environment, so you'll need to be up for some challenging hikes.

You would move into a multi-cultural neighborhood and begin life-on-life ministry. If you don’t know the local language (Dutch or French), you can start in language classes where you’ll most likely learn alongside Africans. This position focuses on intentional training and intentional living with a desire to mobilize the local Flemish church into outreach to the diverse international culture. You would work alongside others on the ground who have begun building relationships with Africans and are volunteering with local non-profits. Every team member will spend a lot of time building deep, meaningful relationships with neighbors, friends, and neighborhood shop owners. Borderless is a ministry initiative of Africa Inland Mission. In a small Northern Brazilian town sits a university that hosts Portuguese-speaking African students. This gives anyone serving among these students several years of opportunity to build deep relationships with them leading to gospel conversations. If you’ve served among university students before, have a heart for the unreached, and if you’re ready and willing to get creative in ministry, this opportunity could be for you! You’ll be involved in the local Brazilian church, helping mobilize the church for student outreach. You can visit students in their homes, invite them into yours, and maybe even teach them mini-courses in topics that serve them well. There are so many opportunities to begin new outreach ministries to reach these students. The students love making new friends, and the Christian students are strongly in need of support and discipleship. By investing in these students, you also have the chance to impact the continent of Africa with the gospel once the students return home. *A knowledge of Portuguese is helpful but can be learned in Brazil. Be part of a one-year orientation program that follows AIM’s Inbound Curriculum while actively working alongside other ministry partners and local churches in ministry among Muslim refugees in the urban Kampala area. Inbound is a one-year, team-based training and mentoring program designed to equip new missionaries with practical skills and knowledge for long-term cross-cultural life and ministry among unreached people groups. Led by experienced missionaries, Inbound prepares new full-term workers for service as well as providing a one-year missions exposure for short-termers interested in considering full-term work.

Located in the Hurri Hills area of Northern Kenya, this outreach ministry seeks to make disciples and disciple-makers, and to strengthen the churches that are being planted in the area. With particular interest in reaching Muslim women through the platform of handicrafts, we desire to build trust among the Gabra people so that they become open to listening to the Word of God and effectively disciple those who believe. Other skills and abilities such as gardening, workshop activities, and literacy for adults are great ways to create opportunities for sharing the gospel and discipling believers. We're looking for people who have had some experience in serving in a local church - preferably in the area of discipleship. Previous cross-cultural experience and the ability to do crafts and handiwork is greatly desired, though neither are required.

Our vision in Karamoja is to partner with, and empower, biblically faithful local churches to raise and mobilize disciples who are disciples makers, with the goal of holistically reaching communities in Karamoja and beyond with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Work with a team and in partnership with the local church in Moroto town. Opportunities: Equipping/ training local believers in how to share the gospel and disciple others Facilitating courses that share God’s heart for mission Exploring possibilities for Theological Education by Extension as a way of equipping new leaders Discipleship opportunities within the sphere of using professional skills e.g. discipling other healthcare workers in a clinic Evangelism and discipleship with friends and neighbours. We desire to share the gospel holistically, and so we welcome new members with training, qualifications and experience in theology, church administration, youth ministry, children's ministry, business, health care, agriculture, counseling etc. Training in church planting, chronological bible storying, discovery bible study etc. is also beneficial. Duration: 1 month to 1 year

The Karamoja Ministry Partnership (KAMP) is a partnership between AIM and two Ugandan missionary sending organizations - Global Link Afrika and Reaching Frontiers. There are churches in the larger towns such as Moroto and Kotido, but not in the surrounding villages - with more than 100 kilometers in between large towns where the majority of the unreached Karimojong people live. Together, we will partner with and empower biblically faithful local churches to raise and mobilize disciples who are disciple makers. We are a catalyst, to help local churches in their local communities and context to use indigenous approaches to share the gospel of Christ Jesus in unreached places of the region. This position requires experience in sharing the gospel and discipling others, with other cross-cultural experience being ideal, but not necessary, We desire to share the gospel holistically, and so we welcome new members with training, qualifications and experience in business, health care, agriculture, counselling etc. Training in church planting, chronological bible storying, discovery bible study etc. is also beneficial. These trainings can be done after accepting the assignment but before coming to the field.
