Serving as part of the medical team at Africa Inland Church's (AIC) Kijabe Hospital, you'll join a work that began in 1915 as a small medical clinic, and has grown to a 340 bed facility that treats patients from across Kenya, and from neighboring nations. The hospital provides both inpatient and outpatient care for about 120,000 patients each year. The AICKH keeps a priority list of needed personnel which includes: Critical Care Specialist, Ob/Gyn, Family Medicine, Plastic Surgeon, Pathologist, Physiotherapist Educator, Orthopedic Surgeon.

We're looking for professionally qualified and licensed mental health clinicians who can come for a year or more to serve as part of the Tumaini Counseling Center team. This includes Counselors, CBT Therapists, Marriage and Family Therapists, Psychologists, and Psychiatrists. Together, you'll work to serve missionary personnel from over 160 mission agencies, helping them to thrive in the work God has called them to in Africa and around the world. Major Tasks: Provide psychological or psychotherapeutic evaluations and treatment for missionaries in Africa, giving priority to AIM personnel. Assist and lead workshops and seminars on issues related to mental health and member care. Travel to locations where personnel are serving to provide mental health services. Required: Professional level training in relevant mental health field, eg. counseling, psychotherapy, marital and family therapy, or psychology, with licensure/accreditation appropriate to the field of training.

As a member of the Nahara Ministry Team, you'll join an existing work among the unreached Makhuwa Nahara, a coastal people group of about 400,000 in Northern Mozambique, that blends animism with Islam. Ministry strategy includes teaching conservation agriculture (through a program called Farming God's Way), doing community follow up with callers to a Christian radio program produced by the team, and that features a Muslim Background Believer as its host. The team also does outreach through Literacy, Storytelling, and English teaching.

Live an intentional Christian life in a North African community. In most nations in the region, it is not possible to get a missionary visa. But God has opened doors for his people to live and serve through business startups, professional placements, humanitarian activities, and other viable opportunities; activities that add real value to the community, and provide an avenue for building relationships and sharing truth. Located in strategic cities in North Africa, teams of 8 to 12 adults engaging in business to establish a genuine and viable presence that will open doors to ministry. Each team member will work on learning the local language and culture, and building trust through relationships in their communities. We will seek out those who are hungry for truth and willing to study the Word with us. Some experience in business is desirable but not required. Most personnel applying to serve in this region are required to do a site visit prior to approval for the assignment.
