In 2020, there were around 11 million Africans in Europe. Many of them are coming from countries where the Gospel cannot be openly shared. Make a lasting impact alongside our team as they connect with refugees who have never heard about Jesus. You’ll have conversations about faith and look for open doors to share the Gospel. As people come to Christ, you’ll help disciple them and equip them to disciple others, multiplying your impact even after you return home. Along the way, you’ll build relationships with other interns and be mentored by experienced missionaries as you grow in your own walk with Christ. AIM’s new Full-Term missionaries begin their service with a three-week Africa Based Orientation (ABO) in Kenya. While parents enjoy the adult orientation, their children also enjoy a structured children’s program designed to immerse them into life and ministry in Africa at an age-appropriate level. Participants in the ABO children’s program have the opportunity to invest in the lives of children as they transition to life in Africa with their families, and have a hand in giving these children a rich and meaningful introduction to their new home. As Associate Director of AIM's Africa-Based Support (ABS) ministry in Nairobi, Kenya, you'll assist the ABS Director in effectively managing this vital support arm of AIM designed to "serve those who serve." ABS provides a wide range of support services to AIM missionaries including aviation services, finance, IT support, insurance, logistics, and counseling. Key responsibilities will include oversight of the ABS HR Department and Personnel Coordinator, as well as other ABS departments as delegated by the ABS Director. You'll also assist the ABS Director with general administrative matters. Working closely with Kenyan staff, you'll have opportunity for discipleship, and you'll be encouraged to join a local church and be a part of your local residential community where you can participate in evangelism and discipleship. Experience: Five years experience in senior management in a cross-cultural setting. Experience within AIM and ABS preferred. Training & Qualifications: Degree in Business Administration and Bible. As a teacher, you will play a crucial role in the academic and spiritual growth of our students, developing curriculum, and working with staff. By offering quality education at a reduced cost, you will help the school with their vision for launching a boarding school, extending support to missionary families across Uganda and neighboring countries. Additionally, your efforts will make education more accessible by providing tuition assistance to AIM missionary families. At Acacia, you will have the opportunity to teach various subjects from primary (K-6) to secondary (7-12) levels, and build meaningful discipleship relationships with students. You will be part of a community that integrates biblical principles into every subject. Beyond teaching, you will engage in chapel, daily devotions, pastoral care, and student mentoring. Since 2016, over a million refugees have poured into Uganda from Sudan and South Sudan, fleeing violence in their nations. AIM is working in partnership with the Borderlands Cooperative, an effort by missionaries to coordinate and work together in reaching out to the refugees living in the Adjumani region of Uganda in Jesus’ name. "The physical, emotional, and social needs of the refugees are staggering," writes a team member. "Professionals who can minister, equip, and multiply themselves among the refugees will find an almost endless amount of opportunity."

On any given day, you will find yourself supporting ESL programs through orientation, training, and scheduling. You will be involved in the administration of childcare workers, homeschool tutors, and other programs offered at the community center. You will help with tasks related to processes, forms, data collection, and the handling of grants. You will be someone who understands the ins and outs of the center to help others understand it too. As part of the team serving at the Africa Inland Church's (AIC) Missionary College in Eldoret, Kenya, you'll invest in the lives and ministries of students seeking to take the gospel to Africa's unreached and beyond. We're looking for men and women with experience living and ministering the gospel cross-culturally in an African context and who hold a graduate degree either in Bible, Theology, or some area of Missions.

As the AIM AIR Communications Intern, you'll help promote AIM's aviation ministry through media creation. Through photography, video, and social media, you'll work to tell AIM AIR's story, and how the aviation team helps support the broader work of Africa Inland Mission in reaching Africa's unreached with the gospel. We're looking for an experienced photographer in professional or freelance photography and/or videography. Someone with professional attention to detail, and desire for excellence in all content creation; you'll need to provide your own laptop capable of editing video and photos; a love for Jesus and desire to use media skills for the advancement of the kingdom.
