A number of refugees awaiting the results of their UK asylum applications live in a South London neighbourhood, many coming from unreached African people groups. Our desire is to move into this neighbourhood and reach out to them.

This opportunity is one based on relationship and presence. We want to be sensitive to the tangible needs of these people who are in a season of waiting and transition, but we also want to attend to their spiritual needs, nurturing relationships that lead to gospel conversations and discipleship.

We invite local churches to partner with us in this work by encouraging and training those who have a heart for refugee outreach. Methods of reaching out to refugees have included teaching English as a second language, engaging children and adults in sporting events, and reaching out to women through cooking, crafts, and sewing. But we are open to new ministry ideas.
