Opportunities to serve

FUEL Program – South Africa
Short Term
South Africa

Our goal is to see the church in the multicultural nation of South Africa equipped and mobilized for missions. This FUEL team will provide an opportunity for South Africans and foreign believers to learn, serve and grow together as they seek to share the gospel and also encourage the South African church as they consider and participate in the Great Commission.

FUEL team members will be trained for cross-cultural missions under the leadership and mentorship of experienced missionaries. The major tasks will involve:
Completing the FUEL curriculum (focused on the book of Acts).
Observing, learning and participating in outreach ministries amongst migrants and UPGs.
Learning about the local culture and building relationships within the community and local church.
Experiencing mission work in a cross-cultural team and setting.

About the FUEL Program:
FUEL is an 8-week immersive missions training program partnering together national and foreign missionaries. You will live and breathe missions – both academically and practically. You will engage within the local community and learn first-hand what missions actually looks like. Each team member will be partnered with a national missionary. You will live with them, walk with them, pray with them, cry with them, and learn more about your identity in Christ – a beautiful reflection of the Body of Christ. And all of this leading us towards seeing “Christ-centered churches among all African peoples.”
