As a short term aviation mechanic, you'll join the AIM AIR team as they provide safe, reliable aviation support to AIM missionaries and ministry partners across East and Central Africa. Serving from our base in Nairobi, Kenya, you'll work alongside other aviation professionals in support of AIM's broader outreach among Africa's unreached peoples.

This opportunity can vary in length from 6-12 months.

Major tasks:
1. Develop relationships that provide opportunities to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ
2. Assist with maintaining AIM Air aircraft
3. Assist with inspection of AIM AIr aircraft
4. Assist with training of personnel as requested

Required:
- An A&P Certificate or equivalent; any other training in aviation maintenance or avionics would be beneficial.
- Experience in maintenance and inspection of aircraft; past experience with 206 and 208 aircraft as well as working in a cross-cultural setting would be beneficial, though not required.
